Play proceeds around the table until a Reverse changes direction. The active player should always be visually obvious.

A Wild lets the player choose the color that continues the round regardless of the previous color.
Use the card only when its normal legality condition is satisfied. The next player draws four and misses a turn.
When you reach one card, call UNO. The room keeps a visible UNO action and an audio cue so the moment is hard to miss.
If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the discard pile except for its top card and continue the round.
The first player to legally play their final card wins the round. Future scoring modes can be added without changing the room invite system.
