UnoPlay keeps joining, sharing, profiles, download handoff and the game table in one consistent flow.

Seven-character codes avoid ambiguous letters and numbers and map to clean room URLs.
Hosts and guests choose from the avatar set carried over from the reference project's profile experience.
The guest flow separates name entry, room checking, inviter confirmation, joining and desktop handoff.
After joining, guests can download UnoPlay for Windows or choose Maybe later to stay in the browser.
UI, typing, joins, cards, UNO and downloads each have their own sound cue plus an optional original theme loop.
Canonical URLs, Open Graph, Twitter card metadata, favicon, manifest and structured site data are included.
No npm runtime is needed. Apache rewrite rules handle clean room links once uploaded to Hostinger.
Room state is kept separate from the interface so player presence, chat and table controls stay consistent across the experience.
The interface exposes the important state instead of hiding it: presence, capacity, invite identity, room network status, chat time and host controls.
The person creating the room owns the Start Game control. The button stays hidden until a second player joins, then becomes available only to the host.
Room links connect guests directly to the host session. A guest opening unoplay.me/room/8G340F2 can receive the room state, join with a profile and send chat messages while the host keeps the room open.
Each avatar has a matching accent color. The same accent follows the player through the member list and table seats so names are easier to track during a crowded round.
Pointer interactions trigger subtle click feedback and typing inside form fields triggers short keyboard sounds. Room creation, joins, cards, draws, UNO calls, downloads and success states each use a separate sound.
Real public rooms created in this browser are listed separately from public tables. Public counts animate to dense casino-style directory layouts with open and password-protected access states.
Choose your name, profile, room size and visibility. Classic UNO rules are enabled automatically.
Share the code or full invite link. Public rooms are listed in Discover.
